Rabba is the latest song from Sajid Nadiadwala’s
Heropanti which marks the debut of Jackie Shroff’s son Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. Sung by Mohit Chauhan, this romantic number has been penned by Kausar Munir
and composed by Sajid-Wajid. While
Rabba is soothing to the ears, the tune of this song did remind us of
Tanu Weds Manu hit number
Yun hi which was also crooned by Mohit. The track starts off with guitar and then you get to hear violin which is nice. And once again
Chauhan’s melodious voice doesn’t fail to make an impact. However, I would have loved the song even more if the music composer duo Sajid-Wajid would have come up with an original tune. Nonetheless, the new song from Tiger’s debut film isn’t that bad. Coming to video, Jackie’s son and Kriti make a good pair but somehow the duo fails in the chemistry department. Also, in the video
Tiger is sporting glasses which we didn’t like. In fact, its annoying. Watch the video and you’ll agree. Not to forget, the B-town hunk who is gearing up to enter Bollywood maybe good at action and stunts but he sure needs to take lessons when it comes dancing.
Overall, Rabba is for all those who love hearing slow romantic compositions. And for those who love Mohit Chauhan too. The talented singer has done fine a job but for me his latest offering is strictly average. Bollywood you hear song, watch the video and tell us what you think!
